Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. in Omaha, NE is hiring a local CDL Class A Combo Truck Driver/Dockworker to operate and move freight at our service center. You will load, unload, sort freight and ensure on-time delivery while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.

The role demands strong driving skills, ability to work around docks and with forklift, and reliable attendance. Compensation is hourly, with benefits and paid time off per company policy.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Valid DOT physical.
• Endorsements: Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples.
• Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Driving record with no more than two moving violations in 3 years.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and sort freight to ensure on-time delivery and damage-free freight.
• Load freight to/from dock per Bills of Lading and delivery receipts; optimize space.
• Hook/unhook trailers and move trailers with/without equipment; assist as needed.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition; comply with laws and AAA Cooper rules.
• Fuel trucks, tractors, and other equipment; maintain clean dock and yards.
• Perform safe operation of commercial vehicles and related duties as assigned.
