Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is hiring a full-time Combo Driver to move freight between Service Centers and perform pickup/delivery tasks. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, optimizing space, and ensuring on-time, damage-free deliveries.

Requirements include a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, at least one year of driving experience, and DOT pre-employment screenings. Forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A Interstate CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check and DOT road test.
• Ability to be certified as a forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock.
• Load freight to/from dock according to Bills of Lading and labels.
• Plan loading of freight to utilize space and minimize damage.
• Hook/unhook trailers and manage landing gear operations.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks, tractors, and other company equipment.
• Clean, sweep and wash dock, trailers, yard and gear.
• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
