Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation is seeking a responsible Combo Driver to safely move freight between Service Center locations and perform pickup/delivery as needed.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, planning loads, inspecting equipment, and adhering to safety regulations. Strong English communication and CDL-A with hazmat endorsements are required, with forklift certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License with hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment.
• Load freight to and from dock and trailers according to Bills of Lading and labels.
• Plan the loading of freight onto trailers to maximize space and minimize damage.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and manage landing gear.
