Job summary

Gaudenzia, Inc. is seeking staff to perform level of care assessments for individuals seeking treatment, following ASAM criteria and state regulations.

You will conduct interviews (in person, virtual, or telephonic) and document findings within the PA WITS and the agency's EHR system. • Bachelor’s degree with one-year clinical experience.
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria and assessment processes.
• Strong documentation and interview skills.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for level of care (LOC) assessments for individuals seeking treatment.
• Complete evaluations and assessments including ASAM histories.
• Conduct face-to-face, virtual, and/or telephonic interviews for LOC assessment/admission.
• Accurately document assessment/intake records and funding source approvals/authorizations.
• Document all case management and clinical services in PA WITS and EHR systems.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and timely task completion.
• Maintain proficiency in ASAM-based assessment and intake protocols.
• Conduct admission funding reviews with payors and assist MA applications.
• Coordinate with funding sources and regulatory agencies to ensure access to services.
• Follow up with clients after discharge per regulatory guidelines.
