Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Reception in Irving, TX. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor alarms, and provide outstanding customer service at a premier commercial real estate location.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, with preference for badge control and alarm panel familiarity. Full-time schedule includes night shifts; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor visitor access, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain records.
• Answer incoming calls and provide directions and general building information.
• Observe lobby activity and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
