Job summary

Allied Universal in Irving, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Reception to greet visitors, manage access, monitor alarms, and support a secure, welcoming environment at a premier commercial real estate location.

You will respond to incidents calmly, verify credentials, and provide courteous customer service to tenants, vendors, and guests, with ongoing training and growth opportunities offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor visitor access, verify credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general building information, and communicate routine requests to appropriate building personnel.
• Observe lobby activity and access points, report unusual conditions or security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
