The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, with preference for badge control and alarm panel familiarity. Full-time schedule includes night shifts; background checks and drug screening apply.

As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Reception in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm systems, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a visible, professional presence while supporting a secure and welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor visitor access, verify credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general building information, and communicate routine requests to appropriate building personnel.
• Observe lobby activity and access points, report unusual conditions or security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
