Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking a Lobby Lounge Server to deliver exceptional guest experiences by describing menu items, taking orders, and coordinating with the kitchen.

The role requires a minimum of two years in food & beverage, tray-carrying ability, cash handling skills, and both Hawaii Food Handler’s Card and Maui Liquor Card.TB clearance and ServSafe within 3 months are expected. Full-time schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Lobby Lounge Server

Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.This role is part of the Food & Beverage Division, reporting to the Lobby Lounge Management Team.Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.


• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.


• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
