Job summary

Four Seasons Maui invites a dedicated Lobby Lounge & Komo Manager to lead the Beverage program, supervise the Lounge and Restaurant teams, and ensure impeccable guest experiences across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will uphold Four Seasons standards, coach staff, and drive profitability with outstanding service in an open-air, luxury setting.

You will manage inventory, certifications, and guest relations while maintaining a world-class beverage program and strong leadership presence on site.

Qualifications

• Two years in a department manager role in Food & Beverage.
• Working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons standards.
• Knowledge of beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline staff to meet standards and lead beverage program.
• Be visible in the operation, recognize good work, handle guest requests and resolve concerns.

Lobby Lounge & Komo Manager

Plan, organize, control and direct the work of all employees in the Resort's Lobby Lounge & Komo Restaurant in addition to all aspects pertaining to the resort's beverage program. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Division, reporting to the Assistant Director off Food & Beverage. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation. Lead the Resorts Beverage program
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Describe and ensure quality of all Food & Beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

What You Will Bring

• Two years previous experience in an department manager role in Food & Beverage.
• Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
• Ability to run a meticulously run bar program and highly profitable beverage program.
• To actively manage beverage inventory levels, procurement and par levels. To deliver world class service by actively leading the team delivering guest experience and always being on site for the golden time.
• Ability to recruit, train, lead and mentor a highly motivated team of professional employees.
• Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Must be able to obtain any required food handling and/or alcohol serving certifications required by local or state agencies.
• ServeSafe Certification
• Maui County Liquor card
