Job summary

The Sheraton Palo Alto is seeking a Lobby Ambassador/Bellperson in Palo Alto, California for a full-time, hourly position. You will greet guests, assist with check-ins, and guide guests to their destinations to ensure a positive experience.

You will be the primary source of information, handle baggage, monitor lobby areas, and respond to emergency situations as needed, while maintaining a professional appearance and upbeat demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to perform and sustain high levels of physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and guide them to their destination while ensuring they have a positive experience.
• Act as a source of information and respond to questions/requests from guests.
• Assist with baggage handling and check-ins.
• Monitor the activity of public areas within the hotel, such as the lobby and common areas.
• Ensure the safety of guests and staff at all times.
• Respond to emergencies and special requests as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed by hotel requirements.
