Job summary

Morrissey Hospitality in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a lobby beverage server to greet guests, suggest food and drinks, take and deliver orders, mix drinks, and ensure service standards.

You will accurately enter orders in the POS, keep service areas clean, stock supplies, and monitor guest needs while complying with all safety and alcohol regulations.

This role involves frequent guest interaction and teamwork to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications

• Greets guests; takes guests’ orders, serves food and/or beverages; thoroughly knowledgeable on the menu and beverages while maintaining company service standards.
• Ensures orders entered correctly in POS system.
• Continually refreshes tables through crumbing and refolding napkins, as well as replacing soiled flatware.
• Transports dirty dishes/glassware, etc. and places items into proper cleaning receptacles.
• Ensures the cleanliness and organization of designated work areas. Stocks/replenishes an adequate supply of product and equipment based on expected business volumes and completes set up and break down duties.
• Requests proper identification from guests purchasing alcoholic beverages when legal age is questionable (under the age of 30).
• Complies with company, local, state, and national regulations pertaining to food quality, cleanliness and sanitation standards, alcohol service, and safety.

• Ensures the cleanliness and organization of designated work areas. Stocks/replenishes an adequate supply of product and equipment based on expected business volumes and completes set up and break down duties.
• Requests proper identification from guests purchasing alcoholic beverages when legal age is questionable (under the age of 30).
• Complies with company, local, state, and national regulations pertaining to food quality, cleanliness and sanitation standards, alcohol service, and safety.
• Completes any and all other duties as assigned.
