Loews Hollywood Hotel is seeking a passionate Lobby Bar Manager to elevate guest experiences with an innovative cocktail program and seamless service in a fast-paced setting.

You will lead bar operations, curate beverage offerings, and mentor the team to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction while upholding health and safety standards. This role blends creativity with operational excellence at our iconic Hollywood location.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth service.
  • Curate beverage offerings in collaboration with culinary/mixology teams.
  • Maintain compliance with beverage programs and health/safety standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization and guest safety.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes repeat business.
  • Plan and execute tastings, happy hours, and themed events.
  • Recruit, train and supervise bar staff; provide ongoing feedback.
  • Develop staff schedules to cover peak times and events.
  • Monitor inventory, control costs, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Track sales, labor costs, and profitability.
  • Implement responsible alcohol service policies and ensure staff certifications (TIPS or equivalent).
  • Attend mandatory trainings and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

  • Curate and manage beverage offerings, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, in collaboration with culinary and mixology teams

  • Maintain compliance with corporate beverage programs while staying current with trends and guest preferences

  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations

  • Deliver exceptional guest service, resolving concerns promptly and professionally

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and guest loyalty

  • Plan and execute special events or promotions such as tastings, happy hours, and themed nights

  • Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff, providing ongoing feedback and development

  • Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure coverage during peak times and events

  • Monitor inventory, control costs, and manage vendor relationships for quality and pricing

  • Track financial performance, including sales, labor costs, and profitability

  • Implement responsible alcohol service policies and ensure staff certification (TIPS or equivalent)

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs

  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications Include
  • Minimum two years Food & Beverage leadership experience

  • Thorough knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits

  • Thorough knowledge of all matters related to the proper administration of up-scale food service operations

  • Certification as Food Service Manager or other as required by State County or Local regulations or ability to obtain such certification

  • Ability to maintain effective operating and control processes designed to provide maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria

  • Effective management, leadership, organizational and communication skills

  • High school diploma preferred

Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $70,304.00 to $78,000.00.
