Job summary

Loews Hotels, LLC. is hiring a Restaurant Bartender at Live! by Loews - St. Louis to craft beverages and deliver memorable guest experiences in a vibrant, sports-and-entertainment-focused setting.

You will prepare cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, suggest pairings, ensure quality and presentation, and provide warm, attentive service while coordinating with servers and culinary teams on busy shifts.

Qualifications

  • Previous food and beverage experience; bartending experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of cocktail techniques, beer and wine offerings, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and guest preferences.
  • Recommend cocktails, wine or pairings based on guest interests.
  • Ensure beverages meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Greet guests warmly and provide personalized, attentive service.
  • Take drink orders from guests and servers accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible service practices.
  • Set up and break down the bar, ensuring supplies, equipment and garnishes are ready for service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar, including glassware, surfaces, tools, and waste areas.
  • Track inventory levels and report shortages to leadership.
  • Adhere to all state and local alcohol service regulations.
  • Coordinate with servers, barbacks and culinary teams for smooth operations.
  • Assist with restocking and barback support during busy shifts.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
