Job summary

Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, CA seeks a Manager of Housekeeping to lead daily operations, ensure pristine spaces, and elevate guest experiences. You will hire, mentor, and optimize staffing while coordinating with other departments to deliver seamless service across a 15-acre property.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of housekeeping leadership in hospitality, knowledge of Opera PMS, and a hands-on approach to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality and minimum of two (2) years housekeeping or guest service leadership experience required.
  • Previous experience with Opera Property Management System preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public spaces meet Loews' exacting standards.
  • Analyze room turns and staffing needs, making real-time adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping procedures that drive efficiency and maintain a pristine environment.
  • Interview, hire, and mentor team members, fostering growth and engagement.
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee uniform and laundry services, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Hold regular team meetings to share updates, celebrate wins, and address challenges.
  • Evaluate team performance and coach for continuous improvement.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
