Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown El Paso is seeking a dependable Lobby Attendant to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests. The role ensures the public areas look pristine and meet Marriott brand standards while delivering courteous service.

Full-time position with weekend and holiday availability. You will support the housekeeping team during busy times and handle guest requests professionally, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobby, restrooms, hallways, and public areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas during shifts.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Clean glass doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom supplies and amenities.
• Monitor facilities for safety hazards and report issues.
• Assist housekeeping with special cleaning projects.
• Ensure storage areas remain organized and tidy.
• Respond promptly to guest requests in a courteous manner.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

What you will be doing

• Clean and maintain the hotel lobby, public restrooms, hallways, elevators, meeting spaces, and other public areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and sanitize all assigned areas throughout each shift.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, tissue, and other amenities.
• Monitor public areas for cleanliness and safety hazards and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist housekeeping with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Respond promptly to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or General Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.
