Required

• 3 years: Fleet Maintenance Lifecycle Tracking - A working knowledge of preventive maintenance scheduling (oil changes, tire rotations, state inspections, and recalls).
• 3 years: Damage and Liability Process Control - Experience enforcing strict check-in/check-out inspection protocols. They must have a track record of handling accident claims, verifying driver's licenses and auto insurance verifications, and managing toll/traffic violation processing.
• 3 years: Telematics and Asset Tracking - Familiarity with GPS tracking or telematics dashboards used to monitor vehicle locations, mileage accumulation, idle times, and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) remotely is essential for this position.
• 3 years: Dealer Management Systems (DMS) & Loaner Software - Proficiency in automotive software (such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or specialized loaner tracking platforms like Dealerware or TSD). Applicants must know how to tie a loaner car directly to an active repair order, track keys, and manage automated agreements.
• 3 years: Scale Management - Experience handling a fleet of at least 30 to 50+ vehicles simultaneously. Managing 5 cars is vastly different from managing 60+; the latter requires automated tracking, strict scheduling, and systematic quality control.
• 3 years: Fleet Logistics or Rental Management Background - Prior experience managing a commercial rental fleet or a mid-to-large corporate vehicle fleet is highly transferable. Experienced applicants understand asset utilization, turn-around times, and the economics of depreciation versus maintenance.
• 3 years: Automotive Dealership Experience - Applciants must understand how a fixed-operations service department functions. They need to know how service advisors operate, how repair orders (ROs) flow, and how the loaner fleet directly impacts Customer Pay (CP) and Warranty CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
