Job summary

Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is hiring a Full-Time Loan Assistant for our St George branch. The role supports the loan process by assisting customers, lending partners, and the loan team in a professional and efficient manner.

Required experience includes 1–2 years in a similar role and a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency with Word and Excel and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• One year to two years of similar or related experience.
• A high school education or GED.
• Must have reasonable understanding of a bank and the loan process.
• Strong computer skills in Word processing and Excel spreadsheets.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to loan officer and team.
• Communicate with customers and prospects to reduce friction in loan processes.
• Assist in collecting, filing, and organizing customer financials and information.
• Interact with business owners and professionals in person, by email and phone.
• Work with other bank departments to help with loan production and portfolio management.
• Prepare letters and memoranda, and edit communications.
• Gather information for discussions and meetings with loan clients.
