Job summary

Altabank, a division of Glacier Bank, seeks a Full-Time Loan Assistant to support the loan team at our Salt Lake City and Murray branches. You will handle administrative tasks, interact with customers and partners, and help collect and organize financial documents to streamline loan production.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong Excel and Word skills with excellent communication and organization abilities.

Qualifications

• One year to two years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Strong computer skills in Word processing and Excel; excellent customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to loan officer and team.
• Communicate with customers and prospects to reduce friction in loan processes.
• Collect and organize customer financials and information.
• Interact with business owners and other professionals in person, by email and telephone.
• Work with other bank departments to assist loan production, documentation and portfolio management.
• Take meeting minutes in loan team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations including BSA, Patriot Act, OFAC.
