Job summary

Altabank, a Division of Glacier Bank, is seeking a Full-Time Loan Assistant for our Salt Lake City and Murray branch. The role supports loan officers and teams by handling administrative tasks and coordinating with customers and lending partners.

You will gather and organize customer financials, take meeting minutes, and help with loan production and portfolio management while maintaining compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and OFAC.

Qualifications

• One year to two years of similar or related experience.
• A high school education or GED.
• Must have strong computer skills in Word processing and Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative functions to support loan officer and team.
• Communicate with customers and prospects to reduce friction in the loan production and portfolio management processes.
• Assist in collecting, filing, and organizing customer financials and information.
• Interact with business owners and other professionals in person, by email and telephone.
• Work with other departments in the bank to help with loan production, documentation, and portfolio management.
• Compose letters and memoranda, edit written communications.
• Collect and prepare information for use in discussions and meetings with internal and external loan clients.
• Take meeting minutes in loan team meetings.
