Job summary

Sikorsky Credit Union is seeking a Loan Servicing/Underwriting professional to ensure accurate loan data on the core servicing platform and to support member service excellence. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, reconciliations, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Education: Some college preferred, but exceptional work experience considered.
• Experience: 3–5 years in Loan Servicing or Underwriting with a bank, credit union, or loan servicer.
• Skills: Working knowledge of consumer loan products, mortgage escrow servicing concepts, mortgage lending, lien perfection, and consumer compliance rules (RESPA, Dodd-Frank, Biggert-Weders Flood Act, SCRA).
• Qualities: Urgency, analytical mindset, math and problem-solving, strong communication, teamwork, adaptability.
• Tech: Proficiency in Word; familiarity with Excel; Outlook and web apps a plus; quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Warrant accuracy of loan-level data on the core servicing platform to ensure correct statements, filings, and reports.
• Handle member inquiries via calls, providing best-in-class service per SFCU policies.
• Perform research and reconciliation to resolve issues promptly and accurately.
• Support escrow administration tasks: tax and insurance disbursements, escrow payee records, and annual escrow analyses.
• Process payoffs, charge-offs, loan modifications, adjustments, and related transactions.
• Collaborate on projects to improve workflows; contribute to a positive, professional work environment.
• Monitor regulatory changes and technology developments to remain compliant.
• Adhere to policy, procedures, and banking regulations; perform additional duties as required.
