Unitus Community Credit Union is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to support post origination servicing activities within the Loan Operations team. The role handles onboarding, system updates, payments, lien perfection, monitoring and reporting under supervision, while delivering exceptional member service.
Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and some loan servicing experience, with knowledge of consumer lending programs and lending platforms.
The Loan Servicing Specialist is the foundation level position in the Loan Operations team. Incumbents at this level will demonstrate effective working knowledge of post origination servicing activities supporting consumer lending programs. Individuals in this position support one or more loan servicing related functions that could include but may not be limited to new loan on boarding, system updates, payment processing, collateral lien perfection, monitoring and release as well as general loan program exception management and reporting duties. Duties performed at this level are routine in nature and generally performed within formal guidelines and direct supervisory oversight. Individuals in this position will receive and respond to member service inquiries using good judgment and tact to deliver exceptional service – the kind that creates the Unitus difference.
