Job summary

Suffolk Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist to support the full loan lifecycle, including booking, maintenance, and payoff processing. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing while delivering outstanding member service.

Responsibilities include reviewing documents for compliance, reconciling daily payments, and administering escrows. You will collaborate with Accounting and Collections and contribute to process improvements in a team-focused

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of loan servicing including payments, escrows, payoffs, lien processing, and maintenance.
• Understanding of lending regulations.
• Proficiency with core banking systems (Fiserv DNA preferred) and lending software (MeridianLink, Temenos etc.).
• Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process new loan bookings, renewals, extensions, and maintenance requests in DNA and related systems.
• Review loan documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor daily reports for payment issues; research and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain collateral records with proper lien perfection and timely releases.
• Process payoffs, satisfactions, subordinations, and reconveyances accurately.
• Administer escrow accounts, including disbursements and analyses.
• Post and balance daily loan payments, advances, and adjustments.
• Respond to member inquiries with courteous service.
• Assist with year-end reporting and monthly reconciliations.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails per compliance standards.
• Support audits and collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy.
• Promote process improvements and complete required training.
