Job summary

Above Lending is seeking motivated Sales Agents to join our team in Houston, TX. You will assess clients’ financial needs, explain loan products, and guide them through the application process while meeting monthly targets.

Remote work is available with shifts 8:00am-5:00pm CT and 12:00pm-9:00pm CT. You’ll use scripts, follow compliance, and manage inbound/outbound calls to convert leads and drive revenue, with AI-assisted screening used in hiring processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in personal lending or loan advisory roles.
• Strong history of converting leads to sales with documented success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Technological literacy for computer applications and client assistance with uploading documents and navigating websites.

Job description

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Sales Agents to join our dynamic team. As a seasoned professional in sales, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of Above Lending.

We are looking for agents available to work the following shifts:

8:00am-5:00 pm CT (remote)

12:00pm - 9:00pm CT (remote)

You Will

• Assess clients’ financial needs, educate them on available loan products and facilitate the loan application
• Engage with clients to ensure they understand the value of our product
• Collaborate with verification teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets set by management
• Effectively organize and manage workload without constant supervision; maintain focus and productivity independently
• Effective pipeline management which requires monitoring and tracking leads through each stage of the process
• Manage both inbound and outbound calls

You Have

• Minimum 2 years of experience in personal lending or loan advisory roles
• Strong history of converting leads to sales with documented success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Technological literacy for computer applications along with the ability to assist clients with the process of uploading documents, navigating websites, and troubleshooting basic device issues
• Good understanding of personal finance and lending regulations specifically in regards to debt resolution and personal loans
• Ability to read through detailed scripts and follow compliance standards on every call
• Strong ability to overcome objections
• Strong desire to exceed monthly sales targets
• Superior listening skills and ability to engage prospects by phone

In addition to base compensation, this position qualifies for commission. Sales Agents earn a monthly commission based on the agents’ conversion and efficiency, subject to the terms outlined in the company's commission plan.

The compensation range is based on the level outlined in the job posting, and compensation decisions are dependent on each applicant's experience, skills and abilities.
