First National Bank is seeking a Loan Adjustment Assistant in Retail Lending to support the collection department. The role handles administrative duties across repossession and foreclosure accounts, processes payments, and maintains notes and files with accuracy.

Responsibilities include monitoring foreclosures, inputting data, and coordinating with real estate and repossession agencies while ensuring compliance with laws and risk management practices.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills.
• Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in general office software and PC use.
• MS Word – basic, MS Excel – intermediate, MS PowerPoint – basic.
• Knowledge of repossession processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitors status of foreclosure properties or repossessions.
• Gathers and inputs required information in Access Data to generate letters.
• Processes repossession and charge off entries and Oreo sales proceeds.
• Addresses dealer reserve issues on repossession and sends deficit letters as required by law.
• Files estate claims and civil suits; follows up with judgments and satisfactions.
• Processes invoices related to foreclosure and repossession; scanning and Navigator notes.
• Communicates with real estate agencies and closing agents to prepare for sale of foreclosed properties.
• Communicates with repossession agencies to release vehicle when customer redeems.
• Keeps detailed notes in collection system and updates Navigator.
• Processes ACH payments on past due loans and balances daily.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
