Job summary

State Bank is seeking a loan processing professional to support the full lifecycle of mortgage and retail loans. The role covers document collection, verifications, order placement for tax transcripts, title work, appraisals, and underwriting coordination.

You will work closely with Loan Officers and Underwriters to ensure timely closings, generate conditions, and maintain compliance with CRA, BSA, and Equal Credit Opportunity Act requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field; specialized loan processing education/training.
• Minimum of two years of related loan processing experience.
• Must be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties to support loan processing and coordinates work within the department and with other teams.
• Complete funding blocks in Navigator daily and communicate with Loan Officer.
• Order and review documents (tax transcripts, lien searches, title, appraisal) and circulate conditions to underwriting.
• Create and submit files for underwriting, generate preliminary conditions, and track final close.
• Assist with scheduling loan closings and ensure clear to close process while maintaining compliance with policies.
