Job summary

State Bank is seeking an associate loan processor to support the loan processing function. The role requires an associate degree and at least two years of related experience. You will handle document collection, order verifications, and coordinate with underwriting and loan officers to ensure timely processing.

Daily tasks include processing funding blocks, reviewing employment and financial documents, and assisting with closings while adhering to lending policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field normally required; specialized loan processing education/training.
• A minimum of two (2) years' related experience normally required.

Responsibilities

• Process funding blocks in Navigator daily as needed.
• Communicate daily with Loan Officer.
• Receive loans for initial processing; run CIP, order flood, title, and appraisal, and prepare documents.
• For land purchases, check military lending act and compile results.
• For government loans (VA, FHA, USDA), order transcripts and run CAIVRS and LDP checks.
• Review loan files for paystubs, W2s, bank statements, and verify employment history.
• Prepare underwriting conditions and initial file submission; coordinate with Loan Officer and Underwriting.
• Assist with scheduling loan closings and final processing milestones.
• Coordinate with servicing and closers to resolve issues and ensure clearance to close.
