Job summary

Stillman Bank in Illinois seeks a Commercial/Consumer/ Agricultural Loan Processor to prepare and process loan documentation in line with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate with lenders, RMAs, and third parties to ensure complete, accurate files prior to closing and booking, support loan renewals and maintenance, and aid audits and regulatory examinations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in loan processing, loan operations, documentation preparation, or related banking experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial, agricultural, and consumer loan documentation strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documentation for commercial, consumer, and agricultural loans.
• Review loan requests to ensure information, approvals, and docs are complete before documentation.
• Coordinate with lenders, RMAs, appraisal vendors, title companies, attorneys, and third parties to facilitate closings.
• Verify collateral documentation, insurance coverage, lien perfection, and closing conditions.
• Ensure documentation complies with bank policy, regulatory requirements, and underwriting approvals.
• Prepare and organize loan closing packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with loan renewals, modifications, extensions, and maintenance requests.
• Track outstanding items and communicate status to lenders and RMAs.
• Maintain organized loan files per record retention standards.
• Work with Loan Accounting/Operations to ensure timely boarding and funding.
• Support audits, loan reviews, and examinations with requested information.
• Maintain knowledge of lending regulations and bank procedures.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
