Job summary

HomeBank Texas is seeking a Lending Support Associate to assist the Lending Team with loan documentation for consumer, commercial, and real estate closings. You will verify applications, coordinate third parties, and maintain accurate files through closing.

You will collect financial documents, prepare disclosures, and serve as a main point of contact for customers, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely funding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of banking experience preferred.
• Lending Assistant or lending support experience is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of loan documentation and banking regulations is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• File Verification: check application details for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate third parties: order appraisals, title searches, and flood certifications.
• Assist loan officers from origination through closing.
• Collect and review client financial documentation (income, tax returns, credit reports).
• Prepare and maintain loan files ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Generate and process loan documents, disclosures, and closing packages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and provide updates.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate processing.
• Monitor loan pipelines, tickler systems, and reporting for timely funding.
• Input and maintain loan data in bank systems and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and lending regulations.
• Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects.
