Job summary

The Bank & Trust in Texas is seeking a Loan Specialist I to manage loan documentation, prepare payoff quotes, and handle verification of deposits and paid loans. You will safeguard collateral documentation and maintain tracking spreadsheets while providing internal customer support.

You will review reports such as Zero Balance Close Reports and ensure compliance with BSA-AML and bank policies, delivering accurate, timely service with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of previous full-time work experience with prior loan experience.
• Loan knowledge: Basic understanding of loan documentation.
• Accounting knowledge: Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Write and manage loan documents, including creating loan payoff quotes.
• Process requests for verification of deposit.
• Handle the processing of paid loans.
• Oversee Floor Plan Loan collateral documentation and tracking.
• Proofread loan document images and maintain retention records.
• Assist internal customers via phone and email.
• Review and process reports like Zero Balance Close Reports.
