Job summary

Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Loan Processor I to handle loan processing and administration across consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans. The role supports lenders with loan data entry, document assembly, and file maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma and 3–5 years in a financial institution or lending setting, with solid knowledge of products and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years in a financial lending environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial institution products and services.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with computer applications and the Microsoft Office environment.

Responsibilities

• Input and audit consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans.
• Provide administrative support to lenders and staff; process loan payments and maintain loan records.
• Assemble and verify loan documentation with signatures and dates.
• Perform clerical duties related to ticklers and departmental records.
• Answer customer questions and resolve routine inquiries regarding payoffs, ownership changes, and other loan details.
• Balance assigned general ledgers.
• Process escrow items including Homeowner's Insurance, PMI, property taxes, and HOA dues.
• Work through escrow analysis.
• Provide input on QM procedures; updates as directed by loan operations manager.
• Actively achieve individual sales, referral, operational, and community involvement goals.
• Scan and image documentation within Director system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
