Job summary

Hankey Group in Agoura Hills, CA is seeking a Dealer Service Representative to support loan origination by reviewing applications, verifying information, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This on-site role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong communication to keep borrowers informed.

You will enter data into our loan processing system, collect required documents, coordinate with underwriters, and track loan status from submission to final approval.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience: 2-3 years in loan processing or mortgage lending.
• Knowledge: Understanding of lending regulations and compliance.
• Skills: excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify loan application documents for completeness and compliance.
• Enter and update loan data in the processing system.
• Collect and organize borrower documentation (credit reports, tax returns, bank statements).
• Communicate with borrowers to request missing documents and clarify discrepancies.
• Ensure loan documentation complies with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with underwriters to resolve issues or additional requirements for approval.
• Track loan status and maintain documentation of communications and actions.
• Conduct quality control to ensure accuracy before submission.
• Provide customer service to borrowers throughout the loan process.

Education
