Job summary

Hankey Group is seeking a Dealer Service Representative in Los Angeles, CA to support loan origination by reviewing and preparing loan applications. You will verify information, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist in moving loans toward approval, while maintaining high attention to detail and strong communication with borrowers.

The role involves data entry, document management, and collaboration with underwriters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years in loan processing, mortgage lending, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify loan documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Enter and update loan data in the processing system.
• Collect and organize borrower documentation (credit reports, tax returns, bank statements).
• Communicate with borrowers to request missing documents and clarify discrepancies.
• Ensure documents comply with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with underwriters to resolve issues and obtain approvals.
• Track loan status and maintain clear records of actions taken.
