The Loan Partner II works closely with a Loan Originator and the operations team to provide exceptional support throughout the mortgage process.

This role combines loan origination support, pre-approvals, file preparation, pipeline management, client communication, and relationship building.

What You’ll Do

As a Loan Partner II, you will play an important role in both the client experience and the lending team’s success.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assist borrowers with completing mortgage applications and gathering required documentation, including income, assets, liabilities, credit information, and other supporting documents.
  • Review borrower documentation for accuracy and completeness and identify missing or additional items needed to move the loan forward.
  • Pre-qualify borrowers and assist with preparing accurate pre-approvals in a timely manner.
  • Work with Loan Originator to evaluate loan scenarios and help structure appropriate financing options based on borrower needs and applicable guidelines.
  • Prepare complete loan files for submission and ensure required documentation and disclosures are accurate and compliant.

  • Identify potential issues early and work collaboratively with the Loan Originator and operations team to resolve them.
  • Assist with client follow-up, referral partner communication, events, marketing initiatives, and other business-development activities.
  • Help build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Realtors, and other referral partners through exceptional service and consistent communication.
What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about mortgage lending, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.

Qualifications include:
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of mortgage industry experience, preferably in loan origination, processing, or loan support.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting requirements, investor guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience reviewing borrower income, assets, credit, and other documentation used in mortgage qualification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple active loan files and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues before they impact the transaction.
  • Professional, positive, and service-oriented approach when working with borrowers and referral partners.
  • Proficiency with loan origination systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft 365, and other mortgage-related technology.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Who Will Succeed in This Role:

You’ll be a great fit if you enjoy the combination of mortgage operations and relationship building.
