Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp. is seeking an experienced Loan Partner II to support a fast-paced mortgage team in Matthews, NC.

You will work closely with a Loan Originator and the operations team to move loans from application through closing, delivering exceptional client service. Responsibilities include gathering documentation, pre-approvals, file preparation, and proactive communication with borrowers, Realtors, and referral partners to keep every transaction on track in a

Qualifications

Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing.
Minimum of 2–3 years of mortgage industry experience.
Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting requirements, investor guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist borrowers with completing mortgage applications and gathering required documentation.
Review borrower documentation for accuracy and completeness and identify missing items.
Pre-qualify borrowers and assist with pre-approvals.
Coordinate with Loan Originator to evaluate loan scenarios and structure financing options.
Prepare complete loan files for submission and ensure documentation and disclosures are accurate and compliant.
Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and operations to address conditions and keep loans progressing toward closing.
Maintain proactive communication with borrowers and referral partners throughout the process.
