Job summary

IDB Bank in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Loan Operations Senior Specialist to supervise daily functions, ensure accurate processing, and support the Team Lead across onboarding, repayments, and modifications. You will work with Loan IQ and cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and efficiency.

The role requires 5–10 years in loan operations, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication with attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
Strong proficiency with Loan IQ and related systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Collaboration with Risk, Audit, Compliance and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day loan operations activities, including onboarding, advances, payments, renewals, modifications and payoffs.
Back up Team Lead during absences and mentor junior staff.
Process loan transactions using Loan IQ, including faxes, emails, mail, rate changes and interest/fee calculations.
Match incoming cash and ensure release of outgoing cash for all processed transactions.
Interpret Credit Agreements and related documents, and update systems accordingly.
Prepare departmental reports and participate in system testing and enhancements.
