Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-10 years loan operations experience including supervisory/approval role
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training
• Proficiency with Loan IQ
• Effective communication and interpersonal
• Ability to work independently and also interact as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Lead in overseeing the day-to-day functions of a loan servicing team; ensure accurate processing of loan transactions including onboarding, advances, payments, renewals, modifications and payoffs while maintaining compliance.
• Back up for Team Lead responsibilities during absence
• Assist with complex loans and provide training to less experienced administrators
• Process daily work in Loan IQ including review of faxes, email, mail, processing advances, re-pricings, rate changes, and payments to loans on direct, participated or syndicated deals
• Match incoming cash and ensure release of outgoing cash for all transactions
• Obtain internal approval for advances and new borrowings as required
• Ensure Promissory Notes and other documents are received and executed; follow-up as needed
• Interpret Credit Agreements and update Loan IQ accordingly
• Process origination fees and other closing costs
• Communicate with internal lenders and agent bank representatives on syndicated deals
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and account discrepancies
• Reconcile interest and fee discrepancies
• Ensure all work meets audit and compliance requirements
• Participate in department projects and system testing/implementation
• Prepare and circulate departmental reports
