Job summary

Marion County Bank is seeking a Loan Support professional to provide administrative and operational assistance to the lending team in a community banking environment. Responsibilities include entering consumer, commercial/agricultural, and real estate loan terms into the NuPoint system, processing payments and payoffs, and handling customer inquiries with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in banking or financial services preferred.
• Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle high-volume workflow.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve processes within loan support and communicate outcomes.
• Set up and maintain loans in NuPoint per system requirements and documentation.
• Develop knowledge of NuPoint core system functionality for loan accounting.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering calls and routing to staff.
• Process loan payments, payoffs, collateral tracking, and card advances.
