Job summary

Legacy Bank and Trust in Springfield, MO is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to manage pre- and post-closing reviews, processing, boarding and servicing of loans.

You will ensure documentation accuracy, compliance with policies and regulations, and efficient operating workflows across loan systems and reports, with availability Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm in Springfield, MO.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance for all loan-related functions.
• Assess loan requests, documentation for new loans, renewals, and modifications, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations and proper approvals.
• Review final documentation for dates and signatures for new loans, renewals, and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with loan processing guidelines and lending regulations.
• Input loan information into loan processing software and the Core system.
• Process insurance and tax escrow disbursements.
• Balance accounts and process loan payments.
• Review and maintain lending reports and assist with audits.
• Participate in training and any assigned tasks at other locations.

Summary: Loan Operations Specialist is a generalized role which includes but is not limited to Pre-Closing Review, Post-Closing Review, Processing, Boarding, and Servicing of loans.

Full-Time Position | Availability: Mon - Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Springfield, MO

Essential Job Functions

• Understand and demonstrate Legacy Bank and Trust corporate values in all situations and interactions.
• Provide support and assistance for all loan-related functions.
• Assess loan requests, documentation created, and other documentation related to new loans, renewals, and modifications ensuring compliance with loan policies and regulations, and that proper approval was obtained when applicable, prior to the customer signing the documents.
• Review final documentation for new loans, renewals, and modifications for dates, signatures, etc.
• Demonstrate solid working knowledge of Loan Processing guidelines and requirements ensuring all requests comply with bank lending policies, as well as state and federal lending regulations.
• Input loan information and documentation accurately into the necessary software program to originate loan documents.
• Enter all loan information and maintenance into the Core system.
• Process insurance and tax escrow disbursements.
• Verify and process requests to resolve collateral, document, and financial exceptions.
• Balance various accounts.
• Process loan payments.
• Review and maintain a variety of lending reports.
• Assist with audit requests as needed.
• Complete and attend all training as identified by the bank and Loan Operations.
• All other Loan Operations duties as assigned. May be assigned work or training at other locations.
