  • Escrow: 3 years (preferred).
  • Banking or credit union experience required.
  • Basic computer skills with interest and ability to learn new applications.

  • Provide exception customer care (both internal and external).

Overview

Job Title: Loan Operations Specialist  Department: Loan Operations

Reports To: Loan Operations Manager  FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

The Loan Operations Specialist services the bank’s loan portfolio and follows established lending policies and procedures. This role involves routine loan maintenance, processing loan payments, payoffs and obtaining escrow premium updates. This position is multi-functional and support oriented.

Responsibilities
  • Loan file maintenance and servicing of all loan types on the Bank’s core system
  • Review data input for accuracy and completeness
  • Process daily functions of all loan records, including loan payments, statement rendering, escrow check rendering
  • Adhere to Bank policies and procedures as well as industry regulations
  • Must be able to relate to customers and coworkers in a positive atmosphere of mutual respect without exhibiting behavioral extremes
  • Provide exception customer care (both internal and external)
  • Maintain confidentiality of all customer and employee information
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and produce accurate, high-quality work

  • Banking or credit union experience required
  • Basic computer skills with interest and ability to learn new applications
  • Physical requirement: Regularly reaching with arms and hands, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting objects up to 30 pounds, sitting for long periods
