Job summary

Legacy Bank and Trust is seeking a part-time teller to work Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. The role requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of banking products, and ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and at least two years of customer service experience. Experience with internet banking and MS Office is preferred. Training will be provided, and benefits include retirement plan options.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Legacy Bank and Trust corporate values in every situation and interaction.
• Uncover needs and deepen customer relationships by identifying needs and recommending appropriate bank products.
• Assist with internet banking and debit card requests.
• Perform basic and complex daily teller functions (cash handling, balancing of drawers, vaults, coin machine, etc.).
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service and appropriately manage customer complaints.
• Comply with bank policy, laws, and regulations.
• Complete all required training as well as ABA assigned courses.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Strong cultural values
• Excellent verbal skills and customer service delivery.
• The ability to handle multiple functions at the same time.

• Possess knowledge of all banking products, including other lines of business within the bank. Stay current on new products, pricing, and cross-sell opportunities within retail and other departments of the bank.
