Job summary

ORIX Corporation USA is seeking a Loan Associate to support the internal loan administrative agent team across loan closings, settlements, servicing, and portfolio administration for syndicated and participated loans. You will work with internal and external partners to ensure accurate, timely execution throughout the loan lifecycle, with a strong focus on collaboration and attention to detail.

The role requires 3-5 years in loan operations or related financial services, a finance or accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from a four-year university.
• 3-5 years of experience in loan operations, servicing, fund operations or related financial services.
• Ability to review and interpret legal, financial, and loan documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support loan closings by coordinating funding, reviewing settlement instructions, and ensuring documentation is complete.
• Interpret loan agreements and legal documents to establish loan structures and terms in settlement and accounting systems.
• Manage onboarding of deal assets and maintain accurate security master data for downstream processing.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations between banking platforms and portfolio systems and resolve variances.
• Collaborate with deal teams, treasury, accounting, legal, and other partners to ensure accurate servicing and reporting.
