Job summary

Legacy Bank in Colwich, Kansas seeks a Loan Operations Quality Assurance Specialist-Pre and Post Audit to review loan files for accuracy, compliance, and risk reduction. You will shadow pre- and post-closing processes across consumer and commercial loans, ensuring documentation meets policies and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, timely reviews (24-48 hours), collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing process improvements to strengthen the loan

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred but not required with relevant experience.
• Experience in loan processing, closing, or auditing is preferred (6 months to 2 years).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end lending process and regulatory environment desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Rotation of Pre-Audit and Post-Audit review of all new and renewed loans.
• Pre-Audit: review loan documents to ensure conformance to policies prior to closing; target turnaround time 48 hours or less.
• Post-Audit: verify all required documents; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Verify lien perfection and maintenance on collateral.
• Review delinquency notices and verify loan postings for correct payments.
• Process UCC filings and track filings; suggest process improvements.
• Serve as primary contact for loan operations customer calls.
