Job summary

Merchants Bank in Hastings is seeking a Lending Assistant to support the loan process and ensure accurate documentation. The role requires attention to detail, organization, and excellent customer service, with 8am–5pm Monday to Friday hours for full-time employment.

Responsibilities include obtaining loan information, requesting closing documents, and maintaining loan records while delivering strong service to clients. Banking experience with loan documentation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be well organized, motivated, and able to initiate and follow through on projects.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and computer skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Banking experience with loan documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial and consumer loan process.
• Obtain required loan information and request loan documents for closing.
• Complete documentation and track/update loan information.
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive working environment.
