Job summary

First Mid Bancshares, Inc. seeks a Core Processing Specialist to manage input and validation of Commercial loans within Loan Operations. You will handle loan documentation analysis, funding setup, and timely liaison with Loan Officers, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

This role emphasizes data quality, cross-functional collaboration on system tests and migrations, and adherence to bank policies. A supportive Total Rewards program accompanies this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• 1+ years banking, clerical, or loan processing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ability to handle detailed data.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets loan documents and books loans to core system accurately.
• Analyzes complex loan documents to set up and fund accounts per policy.
• Exports new and renewed loans to Core in a timely manner.
• Reviews files and disburses loan proceeds for Officers and customers with confidentiality.
• Uploads documents to imaging system and assists in cross-functional projects.
