Job summary

First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Core Processing Specialist to manage the input of Commercial loans into the core system and support related loan operations. You will validate data during conversions and assist with system testing and cross-functional initiatives.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and with team members across departments. Total Rewards and benefits are included with eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1+ years banking, clerical or loan processing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to handle large amounts of detailed, confidential information.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret loan documents for Commercial loans and book loans to the core system.
• Analyze loan documentation to set up and fund accounts per policy.
• Record transactions in core processing and validate customer records.
• Disburse loan proceeds and manage collateral terms.
• Support testing, training, and cross-functional projects within Loan Operations.
