Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to support loan closings, funding, and servicing. The role involves coordinating closing logistics, reviewing cash transfers, and maintaining organized files throughout the loan life cycle.

The candidate will assist with reconciliations, reporting, and compliance documentation, while working with internal teams and external service providers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in direct lending, banking, or loan ops.
• Experience with leveraged loans or private credit.
• Excel skills and data accuracy focus.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Excellent organization, detail-orientation, prioritization.
• Ability to learn systems and workflows quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closing logistics, documentation, KYC, wire instructions, and approvals.
• Prepare/review cash transfers, funding wires, and allocations across client accounts.
• Maintain closing files and post-closing follow-ups with teams, counsel, agents, and admins.
• Monitor loan bookings, notices, and related activity with administrators.
• Resolve data or cash exceptions with third-party loan/fund admins.
• Follow policies, deadlines, and identify efficiency improvements.
• Assist with bank-to-book reports and portfolio reconciliations.
• Prepare recurring portfolio reports and updates for stakeholders.
• Track reporting deliverables and maintain documentation.
