Job summary

First Western Bank & Trust is seeking a Loan Administrator I for the Minot Main Bank to provide administrative support to the lending team, process loan-related transactions and maintain loan files on-site in Minot, ND. The role requires attention to detail and strong organization skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in banking, lending products or services and documentation preferred.
• Experience with managing files, loan documents and records.
• Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office and bank loan software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the lending team through customer service, preparing forms and documents, maintaining loan files and processing deposit and loan-related transactions.
• Manage loan servicing, ongoing customer service, billing, payment processing and General Ledger tasks in a high-volume environment.
• Independently handle production tasks requiring knowledge of lending documents, policies and procedures.
• Order appraisals, credit reports and other items related to commercial and agricultural loan origination.
• Prepare loan closing materials, statements, journals and escrow letters.
