Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking an Office Analyst to support the settlement and processing of primary and secondary syndicated loan trades within a fast-paced financial services environment.

This role provides operational support to Leverage Finance and Bank Loan Desks while working closely with clients, sales/trading teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure accurate trade processing throughout the loan lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in Credit Loan Operations, Middle Office, Loan Operations, Trade Support, or similar financial services roles.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Adobe.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while taking initiative independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for the settlement of primary and secondary syndicated loan trades
• Support Leverage Finance and Bank Loan Desks with trade processing activities
• Work closely with clients, sales/trading teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and inquiries
• Research, investigate, and resolve trade exceptions while managing operational risks
• Monitor trade processing workflows and ensure accuracy throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to loan operations
• Communicate effectively across business teams, regions, and stakeholders
• Analyze problems, identify solutions, and provide clear explanations to clients and colleagues
• Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
