Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three years in closing/post-closing/processing or five years in mortgage banking.
• Knowledge of mortgage banking principles and investor guidelines.
• Experience with loan documentation and investor guidelines for loan closing/delivery.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professionalism and courteousness with internal and external customers.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-closing audits to ensure closing conditions are satisfied.
• Identify deficiencies and trigger follow-up with the designated area.
• Follow up on missing closing packages to meet required timeframes.
• Review front-end origination data and documents to ensure accurate loan setup.
• Board loans to the servicing system and set up escrow lines.
• Conduct research to establish accurate loan boarding tasks.
• Verify critical and noncritical information for data accuracy.
• Assist in staff training and cross-training to cover shortages.
