Job summary

Madison County Bank in Norfolk is looking for a motivated Loan Officer to build and maintain customer relationships. This individual will build and maintain customer relationships, evaluate loan requests, and provide exceptional service throughout the lending process. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the community
• Interview applicants and evaluate financial information to determine lending needs
• Originate, process, and manage loans in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Educate customers on loan products and financial solutions
• Collaborate with other bank team members to deliver excellent customer service
• Participate in business development and community involvement activities
• Maintain knowledge of lending regulations, underwriting standards, and market conditions
• Support customers with a variety of lending needs, including:
  • Agricultural loans
  • Commercial loans
  • Consumer loans
  • Real estate and mortgage loans
